Since 2014
Strangers at 47 is an award-winning cafe founded in 2014 by Culinary and Hospitality graduates, Sean Ooi and Lim Sing Yi.
Since the day we opened, we have always focused an exceptional service paired with quality food. This is why Strangers at 47’s ratings are consistently ranked amongst one of the highest in the category of cafe in Petaling Jaya.
Our team works hard to pay attention to the small details to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our customers.
Today, Strangers at 47 has expanded across 3 shops in the heart of section 17, Petaling Jaya.
This is because our team takes great pride in being able to deliver memorable experiences for our patrons.
Currently, the cafe is situated within 3 adjacent shoplots located in the heart of Section 17, Petaling Jaya.

Our Menu
From Crepes to Comfort Food
We started with serving cooked-to-order crepes, both sweet and savoury. Over the years, we have expanded our menu to gourmet burgers, cajun-style roast chicken, fusion pasta, rice bowl offerings, and many more.
We are proud to serve artisanal coffee from pour over to espresso, with beans from local roasters, The Roast Things & One Half Roastery.
We are grateful to have worked with Cultiveat, a local sustainable farm, over the past few years. More than just a supplier, they have been a valued partner who shares our commitment to quality and thoughtful sourcing.
